If you are anything like me, you have way too many toys at your house (in my case obscene amounts of cars and trucks!).  While there is still too much “stuff” in our house, we’ve taken the small step of giving experiences instead of stuff for some of the gifts at holidays and birthdays.  For the past few years my wonderful parents have gifted my son experiences instead of (as much) stuff!  And we’ve also tried to give experiences to friends for birthdays, as well.  Some experiences we’ve received or given are museum memberships, zoo, memberships, passes to family-oriented events, gymnastics open-gyms and MUSIC CLASSES!
