Hi! My name is Bethany Cann. I am a music teacher and owner of Songbird Music. I started teaching music in Philadelphia 20 years ago. Before opening Songbird Music in 2016, I taught music in the School District of Philadelphia for 12 years and taught private music lessons. I have a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Marywood University where I majored in voice and minored in piano. I also holds a Master of Music Degree from Boston University. I am an experienced childcare provider and a homeschool evaluator. I live in South Philly where I enjoy an unschooling lifestyle with my 5 and 10 year-old sons. I also sing harmony and play flute and mandolin in the South Philly based band, Porter Street.
